Sweet & Salty Cookies

white & milk chocolate chips and crushed pretzels  baked into cookies, topped with coarse sea salt & a mini Reese’s cup.
Makes 4 ½ doz cookies
 
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (3.5 oz) package white chocolate pudding (powder mix)
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-2 cups crushed pretzels
½-1 cup milk chocolate chips
½-1 cup white chocolate chips
1 (8oz bag) mini Reese’s Cups
Coarse salt for sprinkling
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and pudding together, set aside
3. Beat butter and sugars together until light and fluffy
4. Beat eggs into mixture one at a time, then add vanilla
5. Gradually beat in flour mixture until combined
6. Stir in 1 cup pretzels, ½ cup white chocolate chips, and ½ cup milk chocolate chips
7. Use a 1 ½ inch cookie scoop and place dough on an ungreased cookie sheet
8. Sprinkle w/ more pretzel bits and both kinds of chocolate chips, and a little salt, then flatten slightly
9. Bake for 8 minutes then press a mini Reese’s Cup into the middle and bake for 2 more minutes
10. Remove from oven and sprinkle w/ more coarse salt (to taste), cool slightly on sheets, then finish on a wire rack
