Baked French Toast

1 loaf sour dough bread
4 eggs
¼ cup milk
½ tablespoon cinnamon/sugar
Topping
¼ cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  1. Cut bread into 1 inch chunks
  2. In a large bowl whisk eggs, milk, and cinnamon/ sugar together
  3. Add the bread chunks to the bowl and toss to coat them in the egg mixture
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and lightly grease a 9×13 casserole dish
  6. Combine light brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon, then use a fork to cut in the butter until it’s crumbly
  7. Spread the bread chunks into the pan, sprinkle with the topping
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until bread reaches desired “doneness”
