General Tso’s Chicken (Slow Cooker)

4 chicken breasts
½ cup water
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
½ cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons ketchup
¼ teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon corn starch
1. Whisk together water, hoisin, soy, brown sugar, ketchup, ginger, and pepper
2. Put chicken in the slow cooker then pour sauce over top
3. Cook for 4-6 hours on low
4. Remove chicken, cut into chunks
5. Turn slow cooker up to high, add corn starch, cook for 15 minutes
6. Add chicken back to slow cooker and continue cooking until warm
1850 calories total, makes 5 servings at 370 calories each.
