Buttery Beer Quick Bread

makes 12 servings

3 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 bottle (12 oz) Yeungling Lager
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees F, line a 9×5 loaf pan with parchment paper
2. whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together
3. use a wooden spoon to stir in the Yeungling until just mixed
4. pour about half the butter into the bottom of the loaf pan
5. drop the dough by large spoonfuls into pan and pour the rest of the butter over top
6. bake for 50-60 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick insterted into the middle comes out clean
 
serve warm.
 
Calories- 2435 per pan, approx. 203 per slice.
