Monkeybread Muffins

Monkeybread Muffins– makes 12(ish)
2 cans Homestyle Grand’s Biscuits
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ cup margarine
1 cup light brown sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, lightly grease LARGE muffin tin
  2. Combine granulated sugar & cinnamon in a coverable container (or a large Ziploc baggie)
  3. Cut biscuits into quarters, and toss in sugar/ cinnamon until well coated
  4. On stovetop melt margarine & brown sugar
  5. Place 5* biscuit pieces into each muffin spot, drizzle melted brown sugar/ margarine over the pieces
  6. Bake for approx. 19 minutes.
  7. Cool for 5 in the muffin tin, then gently remove and continue cooling upside down until brown sugar on the bottom hardens
 
Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 teaspoons Half N Half (or milk)
  1. Stir all ingredients together until smooth, then drizzle over cooled Monkeybread Muffins
 
*There will be 4 pieces leftover… add an extra piece to four of the muffins.
