Dear Parents: Your children should not be unsupervised at the gym (or, in my case, the community “fitness center”). It is dangerous for them to be playing on equipment (and with the heavy free weights, medicine balls, and the nautilus machine) and using it incorrectly. Not to mention the fact that they don’t wipe things off and have no sense of “personal space”. They also use equipment that a person trying to do an actual workout might need. Please, if your children want to “go workout” get off your ass, supervise them, and teach them how to act in a relatively public situation.
Sincerely, An Annoyed Runner.
PS the sign posted by the door clearly reads “No Children under 16. No UNSUPERVISED children.”
